A Very enjoyable self guided tour. The explanation boards in both French and English were very good. The rum tasting was excellent. The collection of model boats was very good. The insects, butterflies, and creole history displays were also well laid out.

Lovely garden. Could have done with some English explanations.
Beautiful beach, and despite the number of parked cars there was plenty of room and shade too.
Praia paradisíaca, calma e quase deserta.. tem dois ou três bares/restaurantes de praia. Estacionamento fácil
At the car park follow the saut directly and not the road (there are no signs). For the descent we recommend fix shoes - no flip-flops. The basin directly under the waterfall invites for splashing around. Very nice spot.
We did an afternoon kayaking trip from Vieux Bourg with Ti-Evasion. It was excellent. Saw lots of wildlife.
Beautiful bay with calm water. On the rocky sides ideal for snorkeling with lots of fish. We even had the luck to see a sea turtle. There are shady berths and a beach bar. Parking is limited.
Great beach if you have kids. There wasn’t the sudden drop off ten feet out like most beaches in the area. The kids there was boogie boarding and playing in the waves. Parking is easy and close. There are two beaches, east and west. There are restaurants and toilets.
The Caret Island no longer exists! These are photographs from the past. Rising water levels, global warming, the disappearance of the corals and the assault of the waves: all these elements are indeed related.Located in the Grand-cul-de-sac marin, this small sand and palm tree stretch of 200 x 25 metres, resists, with the help of man made protection, to the onslaught of the currents. The currents seem to be winning slowly but surely, so it is high time to catch a boat from Pointe à Pitre or St Rose to play Robinson Crusoe.
